A cause close to my heart – keeping our oceans and waterways clean – is being hosted by Terre Propre at a free local event at Port Camille Rayon on Saturday 13 June 2015.
The event will be comprised of 2 parts:
1) From 9am-11am, a clean-up of the port and surrounding areas. Gloves and pick-up tongs will be supplied. Families welcome, and there will be environmental activity workshops for children to teach the importance of protecting the environment, fishing for rubbish etc…The public is invited to attend to help clean up the port area, and will be supported by divers and 2 boats on the surface.

2) A dance party that same evening at Theâtre de la Mer at the port. Doors open from 5.30pm. Participants of the port clean-up during that morning receive free entry to the dance party (limited numbers); all other attendees must purchase tickets either in advance via the MindWorld website, designated ticket outlets or at the door on the night.
