What the event involves
The 6th Employment Information Day for Persons with a Disability (6e Journée Emploi et Handicaps) is being held Thursday 20 November 2014 at Espaces du Fort Carré in Antibes.
It is a unique exposition day for the Alpes-Maritime region, that brings together local businesses with jobseekers that have physical or intellectual disabilities.
Who are the participants
There will be over 60 businesses present from various sectors including banks, leisure, accommodation, energy and utilities, internet/web, restaurants, telemarketing, sport, transport and public works.
There are opportunities to meet with employment advisors, work assistance co-ordinators (help with preparing CV’s, guidance on paperwork), and other individuals who assist people to create and market businesses.
Sign language interpreters will be onsite, and assistance for people with mobility issues if required.
The venue is accessible to everyone, and there is free car parking within 200 metres distance from the entrance at Fort Carré or Bouyges public parking nearby. Bus number 13 with Envibus runs regular schedules and travels from Antibes port (near the first archway) to a stop outside the venue.
